MyELTA Pro WooCommerce Εγχειρίδιο Χρήσης
1. What MyELTA Pro does
MyELTA Pro connects your WooCommerce administration area with ELTA Courier web services. It allows authorized shop staff to:
- Create and print ELTA Courier vouchers from a WooCommerce order.
- Save the returned voucher reference on the order.
- Print A4 or A6 labels.
- Handle cash on delivery, multiple parcels, weight, Saturday delivery, PEL-SERVICE and comments.
- Open the public ELTA tracking page from the saved reference.
- Request and save the latest shipment status.
- Create and print vouchers for multiple selected orders.
- Automatically change WooCommerce order statuses.
- Send WooCommerce-styled customer emails.
- Track shipments automatically with WP-Cron, a real server CRON job, or the optional ELTA webhook.
- Delete old generated PDF files automatically.
The plugin supports both the classic WooCommerce order storage system and High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
2. Before you begin
Make sure you have:
- An active WooCommerce installation.
- ELTA Courier web-service credentials for the environment you will use.
- A MyELTA Pro license key registered for this website.
- PHP 7.4 or later.
- The PHP SOAP extension enabled on the server.
- Complete recipient details on each order: name, address, city, postcode and telephone number.
Ask your hosting provider to enable PHP SOAP if the plugin reports that it is unavailable.
Important: Test credentials and production credentials are different. Do not use test credentials while processing real customer shipments.
3. Installation
- Sign in to WordPress as an administrator.
- Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Select Upload Plugin.
- Select the MyELTA Pro ZIP file supplied by 01generator.
- Select Install Now.
- When installation finishes, select Activate Plugin.
If MyELTA Lite is active, MyELTA Pro automatically deactivates it to prevent duplicate controls and conflicting requests.
After activation, open WooCommerce > MyELTA Pro.
4. License activation
Shipment actions are locked until the license is activated for the current website.
- Open WooCommerce > MyELTA Pro.
- Find License and Updates.
- Enter the license key supplied with your purchase.
- Select Activate License.
- Confirm that License Status shows Active for this domain.
Use Check License whenever you need to request a fresh validation. Use Deactivate License before moving the license to another domain.
The license does not expire, but the support and update period can end. When support has ended, the installed plugin remains licensed for the registered domain, but newer versions cannot be downloaded until support is renewed.
5. Initial configuration
Open WooCommerce > MyELTA Pro and complete the following sections.
5.1 Credentials
- Environment: Select Production for real shipments or Development / Test for ELTA testing.
- Client Code: Enter the customer code supplied by ELTA Courier.
- API Username: Enter the ELTA web-service username.
- API Password: Enter the ELTA web-service password.
- Client Subcode: Leave this empty unless ELTA Courier assigned a subcode to your account.
5.2 Voucher settings
- Show order tools: Displays the MyELTA Pro panel inside matching WooCommerce orders.
- Default PEL-SERVICE: Select the service that should be preselected for new orders.
- 1 - Delivery to the recipient: The normal and recommended default.
- 2 - Receipt from a local office: Use only when this service matches your ELTA agreement.
- 8 - CU: Use only when ELTA Courier has instructed you to use this service.
- Print Template: Select A6 / Label or A4.
- Add order ID to comment: Adds the WooCommerce order number at the beginning of the voucher comment.
- Send email when voucher is printed: Sends the in-transit email after the first voucher is created.
- Order status for transit email: Sends the in-transit email when an order changes to the selected status and already has a voucher reference.
- Order status after voucher creation: Changes the order to the selected status after its first voucher is successfully created.
- Shipping methods that should display the order tools: Limits the MyELTA Pro order panel to orders using the selected WooCommerce shipping methods. Leave empty to display it on every order.
To select more than one item in a multiple-choice field, hold Ctrl on Windows/Linux or Command on macOS while selecting items.
5.3 Recommended first setup
For a safe first test:
- Select the Development / Test environment.
- Enter ELTA test credentials.
- Select PEL-SERVICE 1.
- Select the print size used by your printer.
- Leave automatic status and email options disabled until voucher creation and printing have been verified.
- Select Save Settings.
- Test with a non-production WooCommerce order.
Test environment limitation: ELTA may not permit COD vouchers in its test environment. A COD error during a test does not necessarily indicate a plugin problem.
6. Creating and printing one voucher
- Go to WooCommerce > Orders.
- Open the order you want to process.
- Find the MyELTA Pro panel.
- Review all shipment fields before printing:
- COD: Enable only when ELTA must collect the order total from the recipient.
- Parcels: Enter the total number of packages.
- Weight: Enter the total shipment weight.
- Saturday Delivery: Enable only when this service is required and available for the shipment.
- PEL-SERVICE: Confirm the ELTA service for this order.
- Comment: Enter the note that should be sent with the voucher, up to 100 characters.
- Select Create & Print Voucher.
- Wait until processing finishes. Do not select the button repeatedly.
- The PDF opens in a new browser tab and the reference is saved on the order.
When the order is first added to MyELTA Pro, the plugin normally prepares these values automatically:
- COD is enabled when the WooCommerce payment method is the standard Cash on delivery method.
- Weight is calculated from product weights and quantities. A fallback weight is used when no product weight is available.
- The customer order note is copied into the comment.
- Parcels defaults to
1. - PEL-SERVICE uses the configured default.
Always verify these values before creating the voucher.
If a reference already exists, Create & Print Voucher reprints the existing voucher instead of creating another one.
Browser does not open the PDF
Your browser may block the new PDF tab. If this happens, use the popup notification in the browser address bar and allow popups for your shop's administration domain. Then select the print button again.
7. Tracking a shipment
From the WooCommerce order
- Open the order.
- Select Track Voucher.
- Wait for the request to finish.
- The latest ELTA tracking status and history are saved and displayed in the MyELTA Pro panel.
The saved reference is also a link. Select it to open the public ELTA Courier tracking page in a new tab.
Tracking information may not be available immediately after voucher creation. ELTA normally returns useful tracking events after the shipment enters its network.
8. Removing a voucher reference
ELTA Courier does not provide remote voucher cancellation through the web-service contract used by MyELTA Pro.
The Cancel Voucher button therefore performs a local reset only:
- Open the order.
- Select Cancel Voucher.
- Read the confirmation carefully.
- Select Remove locally.
The plugin removes the saved voucher reference and tracking information from WooCommerce, allowing a new voucher to be created.
Warning: This action does not cancel the shipment at ELTA Courier. If the original shipment must be canceled operationally, contact ELTA Courier through the procedure provided for your account.
9. Mass printing vouchers
- Go to WooCommerce > Orders.
- Optionally use the MyELTA shipping-method filter to narrow the visible orders.
- Select the checkbox next to every order you want to process.
- Open Bulk actions.
- Select MyELTA Pro - Mass Print Vouchers.
- Select Apply.
- A progress window displays how many orders have been processed.
- When processing finishes, review any failed order numbers.
- Select Download PDF to download the combined voucher file.
- Close the progress window. The orders page refreshes to show newly created references.
For an order without a voucher, mass print first creates the voucher and then prints it. For an order with an existing reference, it prints the existing voucher.
The orders table also includes:
- Carrier: The shipping method used by the order.
- ELTA Reference: The stored voucher reference, linked to ELTA tracking.
10. Automatic order statuses and emails
10.1 After voucher creation
Under Voucher Settings you can:
- Change the order to a selected status after the first voucher is created.
- Send an in-transit email immediately after the first voucher is created.
- Send the in-transit email when the order later reaches a selected status.
The email uses the active WooCommerce email design and the customer's order language when available.
10.2 After tracking updates
Under ELTA Status Webhook you can configure rules used by both webhook and CRON tracking:
- Order status after successful delivery: Changes the order when ELTA confirms delivery.
- Delivery thank-you email: Sends one thank-you email for the delivered voucher.
- Order status after failed delivery: Changes the order only for terminal failure events, such as refusal or return to sender.
- Failed-delivery email: Informs the customer that delivery could not be completed and asks them to contact the shop if assistance is needed.
Temporary delays are not treated as terminal delivery failures.
10.3 Late orders
Under CRON Settings:
- Late after (days): Defines how old an undelivered order must be before it is considered late.
- Order status for late orders: Selects the WooCommerce status applied to late orders.
Select None for any automatic status option you do not want to use.
11. Automatic tracking with CRON
MyELTA Pro schedules an hourly WP-Cron tracking task automatically. WP-Cron depends on website traffic, so execution may be delayed on a low-traffic shop.
For more reliable tracking, configure a real server CRON job:
- Open WooCommerce > MyELTA Pro.
- Find CRON Settings.
- Select the Order statuses to track. Leave empty to consider all statuses.
- Select the Shipping methods to track. Leave empty to allow all shipping methods.
- Configure the late-order options.
- Copy the complete Tokenized Endpoint URL.
- Ask your hosting provider to call that URL regularly, for example every 30 or 60 minutes.
The hosting provider can use a command similar to:
curl -fsS "YOUR_TOKENIZED_ENDPOINT_URL" >/dev/nullReplace YOUR_TOKENIZED_ENDPOINT_URL with the exact URL shown by the plugin.
Security: The endpoint contains a private token. Do not publish or share it. Anyone with the complete URL can trigger the tracking process.
Each run can:
- Request the latest ELTA status for matching orders.
- Save tracking status and history.
- Apply delivered, failed-delivery and late-order statuses.
- Send enabled customer emails once per voucher and event type.
- Remove generated PDF files older than the configured retention period.
12. ELTA status webhook
The webhook is optional. It allows ELTA Courier to send shipment events immediately instead of waiting for the next CRON run.
- Open WooCommerce > MyELTA Pro.
- Find ELTA Status Webhook.
- Copy the Webhook Endpoint.
- Copy the APIKEY Header Value.
- Provide both values securely to the ELTA Courier technical contact responsible for webhook setup.
- ELTA must send the key in the HTTP header named
APIKEY. - Save settings if you replace the generated key.
Use HTTPS on the shop. Keep the API key secret and use a value of at least 24 characters.
The webhook and CRON are designed to work together. Duplicate webhook events and duplicate outcome emails are prevented, while CRON remains a fallback if an event is not received.
13. PDF management
Generated voucher PDFs are stored in a protected folder inside the WordPress uploads directory.
Under PDF Settings:
- Stored files shows how many generated PDFs currently exist.
- Clear Generated PDFs deletes all currently stored voucher PDFs.
- Delete PDFs After (days) defines how long generated PDFs should be retained before automatic CRON cleanup.
Deleting a generated PDF does not remove the voucher reference from the WooCommerce order and does not cancel the ELTA shipment. You can reprint a voucher while its reference remains stored.
14. Plugin updates
When an update is available, WordPress displays the normal update notice on the Installed Plugins and Updates screens.
To check immediately:
- Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins.
- Find MyELTA Pro.
- Select Check for updates.
- Read the result notice.
Downloading private updates requires a valid license for the current domain and an active support period.
Before updating, keep a current backup of the website files and database.
15. Troubleshooting
The MyELTA Pro panel is not visible on an order
- Confirm that the license is active.
- Confirm that Show order tools is enabled.
- Check Shipping methods that should display the order tools. The order must use one of the selected methods.
- Leave the shipping-method selection empty to show the tools on every order.
ELTA credentials are not configured
Complete Client Code, API Username and API Password, then save settings. Confirm that the selected environment matches the supplied credentials.
The PHP SOAP extension is required
Ask the hosting provider to enable the PHP SOAP extension for the PHP version used by WordPress.
Voucher creation reports missing order data
Check the recipient's name, street address, city, postcode and telephone number. Also verify parcels and weight.
COD fails in the test environment
ELTA may not support COD in its test environment. Test without COD or use production credentials only when you are ready to create a real shipment.
The PDF does not open
Allow popups for the WordPress administration domain and try again. Also confirm that the uploads directory is writable.
Tracking returns no useful status
Wait until ELTA Courier has scanned the shipment, then try again. Confirm that the saved reference is correct.
Mass print reports failed orders
Open each reported order and try creating its voucher individually. The individual message usually identifies missing recipient data, invalid credentials, weight, parcel, phone or service problems.
Automatic tracking does not run regularly
Configure the real tokenized CRON endpoint through the hosting provider. WP-Cron can be delayed when the shop has little traffic.
Emails are not received
- Confirm the relevant email option is enabled.
- Confirm the order contains a valid billing email address.
- Check the site's WooCommerce email configuration.
- Use an SMTP plugin or transactional email service and inspect its delivery log.
16. Important limitations
- Remote voucher cancellation is not supported. The cancel action only removes the locally stored reference and tracking data.
- PUDO pickup-station checkout is not included in the current public release.
- PEL-SERVICE options should be used according to the services enabled for your ELTA Courier account.
- Carrier availability, tracking events and service rules are controlled by ELTA Courier.
For account credentials, enabled courier services and operational shipment cancellation, contact ELTA Courier. For plugin installation, licensing or technical issues, open a support ticket.
