MyGeniki Pro WooCommerce Documentation
User Guide
MyGeniki Pro connects WooCommerce with the Geniki Taxydromiki JobServicesV2 web service. It lets store managers create, print, cancel, and track vouchers from WooCommerce, process multiple orders, automate shipment tracking, update order statuses, and send customer emails.
This guide is written for store administrators. No development knowledge is required.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.5 or newer.
- WooCommerce installed and active.
- PHP 7.4 or newer.
- The PHP SOAP extension enabled on the server.
- Geniki Taxydromiki JobServicesV2 credentials.
- A valid MyGeniki Pro license for the store domain.
Geniki Taxydromiki provides separate credentials for its test and production environments. Production credentials must be used when creating real shipments.
Installation
- Open WordPress > Plugins > Add Plugin.
- Select Upload Plugin.
- Upload the MyGeniki Pro ZIP package.
- Select Install Now and then Activate.
- Open WooCommerce > MyGeniki Pro.
If MyGeniki Lite is active, Pro deactivates it automatically. Existing compatible settings and shipment data remain available.
License Activation
The license is assigned to one domain.
- Open WooCommerce > MyGeniki Pro.
- Enter the license key in the License panel.
- Select Activate License.
- Confirm that the license is shown as active for the current domain.
The license itself does not expire. Active support is required to download newer Pro versions. When support ends, the installed version remains licensed for its registered domain, but update access is disabled.
Use Check License to request a fresh license and support status from the 01generator server. Use Deactivate License before moving the plugin to another domain.
Credentials
Configure the connection in the Credentials panel.
Environment
- Production creates and manages real Geniki Taxydromiki shipments.
- Development / Test uses the Geniki test service and requires test credentials.
Application API Key
Enter the web-service application key supplied by Geniki Taxydromiki.
API Username and API Password
Enter the username and password that belong to the selected environment.
Save the settings before attempting to create a voucher.
Voucher Settings
Show Order Tools
Enable this option to display the MyGeniki panel in WooCommerce orders. If it is disabled, the panel is not displayed.
Print Format
Choose the output required by your printer and stationery:
- Sticker
- Flyer
- Sticker F6
The selected format is used for individual and mass printing.
Add Order ID to Comment
When enabled, the WooCommerce order ID is automatically added at the beginning of the voucher comment.
Send Email When Voucher Is Printed
When enabled, the customer receives the WooCommerce-styled in-transit email the first time a voucher is created.
Order Status for Transit Email
Choose a WooCommerce status if the tracking email should also be sent when an order enters that status. Select None to disable this trigger.
Order Status After Voucher Creation
Choose the status applied automatically after a voucher is created for the first time. Select None to keep the existing order status.
Shipping Methods That Display the Order Tools
Select the WooCommerce shipping methods whose orders should display the MyGeniki panel. Leave the field empty to display it for all orders.
To select multiple entries on Windows, hold Ctrl while clicking. On macOS, hold Command while clicking.
Order Page Tools
Open WooCommerce > Orders and select an order. The MyGeniki panel contains the current reference, tracking information, shipment options, and action buttons.
COD
Enable COD when payment must be collected from the recipient. The order total is sent as the COD amount.
The plugin preselects COD when the WooCommerce payment method is cash on delivery.
Parcels
Enter the total number of parcels. A multi-parcel shipment can return a main voucher and additional child voucher references.
Weight
Enter the shipment's total weight. New shipment rows are initialized from the WooCommerce product weights when available.
Saturday Delivery
Enable this option when Saturday delivery is required and supported by the Geniki agreement.
Reception Delivery
Enable this option for the supported reception-and-return service combination.
Comment
Enter the text sent in the voucher comments field. The customer order note is used as the initial value when available.
Changes to shipment options are saved through AJAX. A loading indicator remains visible while the request is being processed.
Create and Print a Voucher
- Review COD, parcels, weight, Saturday delivery, reception delivery, and comment.
- Select Create & Print Voucher.
- Wait for the success message.
- Open or download the generated PDF.
The plugin saves the main voucher reference in its shipment table and in WooCommerce order metadata. Child references are retained for multi-parcel printing.
Selecting the print action again reprints the existing voucher instead of creating a duplicate shipment.
Tracking
Select Track Voucher to request the latest Geniki Taxydromiki tracking history. The latest status and recent checkpoints are saved and displayed in the order panel.
The voucher reference is also a link to the public Geniki Taxydromiki tracking page.
Cancel a Voucher
Select Cancel Voucher and confirm the warning dialog.
Geniki cancellation uses the JobId returned when the voucher was created. A voucher created outside MyGeniki, or created before its JobId was stored, may not be cancellable through the plugin.
After successful carrier cancellation, the local reference, child references, JobId, and tracking data are cleared so a replacement voucher can be created.
Send Tracking Email Manually
Use Send Tracking Email to send the customer the voucher reference and public tracking link. A voucher must exist before this action can be used.
WooCommerce Orders List
MyGeniki Pro adds:
- A Carrier column.
- A Geniky Reference column with a public tracking link.
- A shipping-method filter for the currently displayed orders.
- Mass-print and mass-cancel bulk actions.
- A MyGeniki - Close the Day action.
These integrations support both classic WooCommerce order storage and HPOS.
Mass Printing
- Open WooCommerce > Orders.
- Select the required orders.
- Choose MyGeniki Pro - Mass Print Vouchers from Bulk actions.
- Select Apply.
- Follow the modal progress indicator and processed-order counter.
- Review any failed order IDs shown by the modal.
- Select the download button when processing finishes.
Orders without references receive new vouchers first. Existing references are reprinted. New vouchers trigger the configured first-creation status and email workflow.
The plugin requests Geniki batch PDFs and merges multiple returned batches into one final PDF when required.
Mass Cancellation
- Select orders in WooCommerce > Orders.
- Choose MyGeniki Pro - Cancel Vouchers.
- Select Apply.
- Confirm the warning.
Each selected order must have the saved Geniki JobId required by the cancellation API. The completion notice reports processed and failed counts.
Close the Day
Use MyGeniki - Close the Day from the orders page to call Geniki's ClosePendingJobs operation.
The API returns a carrier result but does not return a manifest PDF. Therefore, MyGeniki reports the close-day result without creating or archiving a document.
CRON Settings
MyGeniki Pro supports WP-Cron and a signed endpoint for a real server CRON job. The real server CRON endpoint is recommended for predictable execution.
Order Statuses to Track
Select the WooCommerce statuses that should be checked. Leave empty to consider all statuses. Restricting this list reduces processing time.
Shipping Methods to Track
Select the shipping methods handled by MyGeniki. Leave empty to allow all shipping methods during CRON tracking.
Late After (Days)
Enter the number of days after which an undelivered shipment is considered late.
Order Status for Late Orders
Choose the WooCommerce status assigned when the late threshold is reached. Select None to disable the automatic status change.
Order Status for Delivered Orders
Choose the status assigned when Geniki tracking confirms delivery. Select None to keep the existing status.
Thank-you Email After Delivery
Enable this option to send the WooCommerce-styled thank-you email once when delivery is first confirmed.
Real Server CRON
Copy the complete tokenized endpoint displayed in the settings page and configure the server to request it on a suitable schedule, such as every 30 or 60 minutes.
Treat the endpoint as sensitive because it contains the authorization token. Regenerating or changing the plugin token invalidates the previous URL.
Each CRON run tracks matching orders, applies delivered or late workflows, and removes generated PDFs older than the configured retention period.
Email Notifications
MyGeniki Pro registers WooCommerce email classes so messages follow the active WooCommerce email design.
In-transit Email
Includes the voucher reference and public tracking link. It can be sent automatically after first creation, after a configured order-status change, or manually from the order panel.
Delivery Thank-you Email
Sent once when automated tracking first confirms delivery and the corresponding option is enabled.
Email language follows the order/customer locale when available.
PDF Management
Generated voucher PDFs are stored in a protected folder inside WordPress uploads.
- Use Clear Generated PDFs to delete all locally generated files immediately.
- Set Delete PDFs After (days) to define automatic cleanup during scheduled processing.
Deleting local PDFs does not cancel vouchers or remove references from orders. Existing vouchers can be reprinted from the carrier while they remain available through the API.
Private Updates
MyGeniki Pro integrates with the normal WordPress update screen.
- Use Check for updates under MyGeniki Pro on the Plugins page for an immediate check.
- A valid domain license is required for update metadata.
- Active support is required to download an update package.
- Update downloads use short-lived authenticated URLs.
Plugin settings, shipment data, and license state remain stored during normal updates.
Troubleshooting
The Order Panel Is Missing
- Confirm MyGeniki Pro is active and licensed.
- Enable Show order tools.
- Check whether the order's shipping method is included in the selected display methods.
- Confirm the current user can manage WooCommerce orders.
Authentication Fails
- Confirm the Application API Key, username, and password.
- Confirm the selected environment matches those credentials.
- Ask Geniki Taxydromiki whether JobServicesV2 access is enabled.
- Confirm the server's SOAP extension is enabled.
Voucher Creation Fails
- Confirm recipient name, address, city, postcode, and telephone are present.
- Confirm parcels and weight are greater than zero.
- Review the carrier error shown in the MyGeniki message area.
Cancellation Reports a Missing JobId
Only vouchers whose creation JobId was saved by MyGeniki can be canceled through the API. Contact Geniki Taxydromiki for shipments created elsewhere.
Tracking Returns No Data
Confirm the voucher reference is correct and that the shipment has entered the carrier network. Newly created vouchers may not have tracking checkpoints immediately.
Mass Printing Reports Failed Orders
Review the failed order IDs in the modal. Open each order and verify recipient data, shipment settings, credentials, and carrier response.
CRON Does Not Run
- Test the complete tokenized endpoint in a browser while logged in as an administrator.
- Confirm the server scheduler can make HTTPS requests.
- Confirm the license remains valid for the current domain.
- Review the selected order statuses and shipping methods.
Support Information
When requesting support, include:
- WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, and MyGeniki Pro versions.
- Whether HPOS is enabled.
- The selected environment and print format.
- The order ID and carrier result message.
- Whether the problem affects one order or all orders.
Do not send passwords, license keys, authentication tokens, or complete customer data through insecure channels.
