View product: SMS & Viber Notifications with Yuboto for WooCommerce

License activation

Open WooCommerce > SMS & Viber > Settings, enter the license key, and select Activate License. Manual sends, automatic messages, balance requests, delivery reports, and scheduled processing remain unavailable until the key is registered to this domain. The license itself does not expire; after support ends, the installed version continues to work but authenticated updates are unavailable.

Before you begin

You need an active Yuboto account, an OmniAPI key, and sender names approved by Yuboto. Sending SMS or Viber messages may create charges in your Yuboto account.

Initial configuration

  1. Open WooCommerce > SMS & Viber > Settings.
  2. Enter the API key generated in the Programmers section of your Yuboto Octapush account.
  3. Enter the approved SMS sender. It may contain up to 11 letters or digits without spaces, or up to 20 digits.
  4. Enter the approved Viber business sender if you will use Viber.
  5. Select SMS, Viber, or Viber with SMS fallback as the default channel.
  6. Optionally enable the low-balance warning and set its threshold.
  7. Save the settings. When credentials are present, the page displays the account balance or a safe API error.

Automatic order messages

  1. Open the Order status messages tab.
  2. Enable only the WooCommerce statuses that should send a customer notification.
  3. Enter a message for each installed store language.
  4. Use the visible one-click parameter buttons below a message to insert order information.
  5. Save the status messages.

The plugin sends after an order enters an enabled status. It uses the locale stored on the order and falls back to another available template if an exact locale is unavailable.

Available variables

  • [*shipping*]: shipment or tracking number when another plugin has saved it.
  • [*tracking_url*]: tracking URL when available.
  • [*shop_name*]: WordPress site name.
  • [*order_id*]: internal WooCommerce order ID.
  • [*reference*]: customer-facing WooCommerce order number.
  • [*name*]: customer's billing first name.
  • [*lastname*]: customer's billing last name.

Manual messages

Open a WooCommerce order and use the SMS & Viber with Yuboto box. Enter the message, choose a channel, and select Send message. A spinner appears while Yuboto processes the request, followed by a success or error message.

You can also open WooCommerce > SMS & Viber > Send SMS. Enter an Order ID, a Customer ID, or a direct phone number. Order ID has priority and automatically supplies the customer data and replacement variables.

Message length

The counter below each message shows GSM-7 or Unicode encoding, computed characters, and message parts. Greek and other non-GSM characters normally use Unicode and have lower per-part limits. The plugin rejects messages above 2,000 computed characters.

History and delivery status

Open SMS History to search by phone, text, Yuboto GUID, order, or result. Use Refresh status to request the latest delivery report. The hourly WordPress scheduled task also refreshes a bounded number of recent pending records.

Privacy and troubleshooting

The recipient phone number, rendered text, and optional customer name are transmitted to Yuboto when sending. API keys are not included in plugin logs. If a request fails, verify the API key, approved sender, phone country, account balance, and WooCommerce logs when debug logging is enabled.
